Call for Poster Session Proposals
We look forward to hosting faculty, staff, students, trustees, and administrators at the 2026 ACCJC Partners in Excellence Conference. Shared Vision, Shared Voice reflects a timely conversation across higher education. At a time of enrollment shifts, technological transformation, public scrutiny, and evolving student needs, institutions are being called to lead with clarity, collaboration, and integrity.
ACCJC is seeking proposals for a poster session showcasing measurable outcomes, innovative practices, and cross-functional collaboration that demonstrate how each of our institutions are turning shared vision into student impact.
The poster session will take place during the opening reception providing opportunity for engaging conversation and networking.
If your institution has a story of impact
— grounded in shared vision and driving student success—
we invite you to submit a proposal.
Who Can Participate?
Institutions accredited by ACCJC, other accreditors, or established higher education organizations. Posters should highlight research, collaborative planning, initiatives, or innovations that have potential or have shown promising outcomes in advancing student success.
Poster Session Format
The main poster session event will take place during the Opening Reception on Tuesday evening. It will be an opportunity to showcase innovative practices throughout ACCJC membership and provide time for conversation and networking. Setup will take place on Tuesday morning so attendees can browse, and presenters are welcome to engage throughout Tuesday or attend other conference events. Our hope is that the posters will feature high impact practices and outcomes at institutions that have assisted in mission fulfillment, improved student success, and/or increased institutional effectiveness.
Each poster presentation participant will be provided an easel and space to converse with conference attendees (approximately 6ft of space total). The room cannot accommodate visual presentations that do not fit on a standard easel.
Criteria for Poster Session Acceptance
All poster session proposals will be reviewed by the conference planning committee. It is our hope to accept all proposals received. However, space at the convention center is limited. In the event that we receive more proposals than space allows, the following criteria will be applied to evaluate and select poster presentations:
- Clarity of purposes
- Innovative dimensions and appeal to participants
- Transferability to other institutions
Applicants should be from institutions that hold accreditation by ACCJC or, in limited numbers, by other accreditors or representatives of an established higher education organization. Proposals that primarily promote a product or service available for purchase will be directed to the conference sponsorship opportunities.
Poster Session Participants’ Responsibilities
- All poster session participants are responsible for registering in advance for the conference, paying the registration fee, and covering the cost of their own travel, lodging, and ancillary expenses.
- Poster session participants agree to be available to engage during the Opening Reception on Tuesday evening. Setup will take place on Tuesday morning so attendees can browse and you are welcome to engage throughout Tuesday or attend other conference events.
- The deadline to submit your proposal is September 25, 2026. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified as soon as the proposal is accepted, and no later than September 27, 2026.
